About Me

Hi, my name is Shreyas and I am a Software Engineer based in New York City. I particularly love Backend & Restful API Development, Linux, Web-dev, Android, Cloud, and anything that is open source. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University, I currently work at DoubleVerify as a Senior Backend Engineer.

I firmly believe that Software Development is all about solving business problems using the right tools at the right time. Here are some tech skills I picked up along the way -

As a Software Developer, learning should never stop! To stay updated with the latest trends and technologies, I listen to various tech/entrepreneurship podcasts (Software Engineering Daily, Indie Hackers, How I Built This with Guy Raz to name a few) on my commute to the office. I also pen down my learnings and thoughts in my blog
Music is therapeutic in nature and having trained in Indian classical music I enjoy singing in my spare time. I also try to pick up some Guitar skills over weekends.
